MANASQUAN GETS
FULL REMODEL!

NEW SIGN!

Yay, for the 3D letters! Boo, for not using the updated "fish-eye" treatment but at this point it appears that sign will not be used on the outside of stores. The new sign looks great against the white siding. All in all, a very nice update despite losing the very last fish-eye sign.

PREMIUM FRESH & HEALTHY 3.0
INSIDE!

Turns out SuperValu's final decor package is still alive and well at Acme. Perhaps it was used here since it's clearly a low-cost design. That said, it looks really good from our vantage point. This store was in need of a good update and I would say it got it. New frozen food and meat cases are still in the process of being installed. I haven't received confirmation about the floor. This was the last Acme to still have the Produce floor tile from the Colonial 70's decor package. You can have a look by clicking here.

ACME CLOCK REMAINS
OVER ENTRANCE!
So the fish-eye logo will live on at this location, just a very small version of it. You know what's funny... looking back at the picture that was sent in last week, you could see new department signage hanging in the store. No one, including myself, noticed it! The aisle markers couldn't be seen in the photo and they're the really give away when looking through the windows. Gotta say it's great to see a really old an Acme get some much needed attention. Wonder if anything is happening at the Middlesex store? As of now, that location is the last one to have the Checkerboard Arches.
